Whether you are young or old, families, couples or singles -  the tropical sea breezes here keep everyone at a perfect temperature along the miles of powdery-white, sandy, award-winning beaches. The turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico lap at the gently shelving shores of these islands that make the area one of the most beautiful and safest in Florida –so its ideal for small children and toddlers. Of course for more grown up visitors - there are well-known spots for watersports such as kite and wind surfing but more about that later...

Where are we?

Situated on the south coast of Florida less than two hours drive from Orlando (129 miles) and a 45 minute drive from Tampa, the region is easily accessible. Alongside the spectacular 35 miles of beaches are fantastic boutique hotels, outstanding international restaurants, culture, spas and world class shopping. All of the Islands and the Sarasota and Bradenton area are easily accessible from Sarasota and Bradenton International Airport or Tampa International Airport.

What can I do?

Our Gulf beaches of fine white sand and stunning blue waters create the perfect backdrop for a spectacular holiday, honeymoon or wedding. Come and enjoy this beautiful part of Hidden Florida.

Culture vultures can explore Bradenton’s historic downtown, home of the South Florida Museum, enjoy the ballet, master works of art, orchestra’s and the 20’s architecture and history of Sarasota.

Beach bums and spa lovers – you need look no further! Spa’s on every corner – perfect for that girly getaway!

Foodies have every experience from beach bars filled with bare foot millionaires to fine dining and the latest chicest restaurants for every budget.(Fast food chains are in the minority here!)  Alternatively dine on board a bay front cruise ship or picnic alfresco at the shaded picnic tables peppered around the island shores where the Caribbean meets the South of France!
